  • WHY DO I NEED LAND SURVEYING?

    There are many aspects to land surveying. A cadastral survey determines the legal boundaries of the property. You may want to build near the boundary, identify encroachments, subdivide, or lease part of your property. It follows that any measurement of your land for any purpose is land surveying.

  • CAN I SUBDIVIDE MY DUPLEX?

    You can subdivide your duplex into two building units and receive separate titles. There are rules and requirements relating to services and fire wall separation. You will need our help.

  • WHAT ARE SSSI AND GEA?

    SSSI stands for Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute and is Australia’s peak body that represents the interests of surveying and spatial science professionals. It keeps us up to date with changes in legislation and professional development.


    GEA is the Gladstone Engineering Alliance and is a well supported group of local businesses that promote development in the area. They provide business development courses to upskill staff and promote local content for developments in this area.

  • WILL MY BUILDING DESIGNER NEED A CONTOUR AND DETAIL SURVEY?

    Yes. A contour and detail survey will allow the designer to determine earthworks, drainage, and floor heights for his design.

  • WHAT TYPE OF PROJECTS CAN LAND SURVEYORS HANDLE?

    There are many types of projects land surveyors can help with from subdivisions, construction setouts and beyond such as minor hydrographic surveys of dams, gas line easements, monitoring for subsidence, rural boundaries. The list is endless.
